A brand for those looking for uniqueness
Perler Design is a Polish brand with unique, handmade furniture and interior accessories created by artists. It is also a blog dictated by design and space arrangement. Behind both initiatives is a woman, art and design lover – Kasia Szyc.
This place was created for people looking for something more in design – unconventionality, originality, a claw. This is an offer for individualists who are fed up with repetitive solutions and want to surround themselves with extraordinary things, made with passion, standing out from mass-produced products.
At the same time, it is a brand that is not flashy or provocative. The concept of perler products is based on elegant simplicity combined with the work of human hands. Each product is therefore absolutely unique – you will not find two identical copies.
In the first place, I started with coffee tables and side tables, which balance on the border of sculpture, craftsmanship and applied design. The collections also feature abstract reliefs created by two artists. They were also joined by handmade vases and table lamps. However, you must know that there are many more projects that I develop “in the background”. Be cautious!

first project? Kasia, 8 years old, inspired by the interior from the series
My first conscious collision with design took place around the first elementary school. In one of the episodes of the Polish tapeworm, I saw a living room with a semi-circular sofa sunk into the floor in the central part. It made an electrifying impression on me! I’ve never seen anything like this before. It was such an inspiring event for me that almost immediately I grabbed a crayon and a piece of paper and started creating the first sketches of my imaginary apartment. I planned its layout and imagined furniture and accessories. My head was just bursting with ideas!
Despite the passage of more than 20 years, the world of furniture, interiors and design still evokes considerable emotions in me. I can’t and don’t want to live without it. To this day, when I see a beautiful object, I can be moved or excited. Thanks to Perler Design, I can interact with this fabric every day and give free rein to my imagination. I am grateful to myself for having the courage to dream and make those dreams come true.
The interior design that comes out of my fingers drifts heavily towards New York and Parisian interiors. The truth is, however, that these projects will also find themselves in other climates, e.g. vintage, boho, eclectic or those in the Scandinavian style. Furniture and accessories projects are usually created in the privacy of my apartment, but inspiration also comes when traveling, in a pub, at the cinema, during a walk – that’s why I always carry a notebook and a pencil with me. At a later stage, the sketches are transferred to a 3D visualization, and then to the actual product – then I hide in my studio overlooking the green patio. I love being here!
Another side project that I do “after hours” is restoring and remodeling furniture. It gives me great pleasure to create new concepts, and then to search for materials that will make a completely different lamp, chair or chest of drawers. I also love digging through the meanders of the Internet in search of original interiors, furnishings and works of art. For a long time I have also been obsessed with glass partition walls and their role in space. I want to share all this with you.
I deeply believe that both thanks to the inspirations gathered here, as well as the interior design, you will emphasize the personality of your home and feel absolutely special in it!
